Book Fair / Open Day

As part of Education Week, our school will be holding a Scholastic Book Fair on Wednesday 7^th August 2019. This is a great opportunity to promote literacy skills and encourage a love of reading.

 

The Book Fair will operate on:  Wednesday 7^th August 2019 in the School Library

       From 10.00am to 1.30pm (excluding assembly time)

 

During the Book Fair you and your child will be able to purchase quality reading material.

Parents, friends and relatives are most welcome to visit the Book Fair to assist children in the purchase of books. You will be encouraging your child to read and enjoy books and our school will also benefit from sales through a commission allowing us to obtain extra resources for your children.

 

A Whole School Assembly will be held at 11.40am, displaying items from a number of groups and classes within our school.

 

Parents and visitors will have the opportunity to visit their child’s classroom and admire their work.

 

Program:

 

Book Fair to Open:                        10am – 11:30am

Recess:                                             11am – 11:30am

Parents are welcome to have Morning Tea with their children.

The canteen will be available to parents and visitors for morning tea purchases.

Whole School Assembly:            11:40am – 12:30pm

Open Classrooms:                        12:40pm – 1:30pm

Book Fair Restarts:                       12:40 – 1.30pm

 

Please Note:

The following items will be available to purchase from 10am for morning tea.

• Tea, coffee, soft drinks and water.

• Cakes, slices, muffins, donuts, pies, sausage rolls, vegetable rolls, chicken tender rolls and mixed sandwiches or rolls.
